Topic: The Vast App Market
Hopefully, you have been keeping up and reading our past articles else you will not fully understand the full extent of each of our individual posts (breaking the fourth wall). Please enjoy our article about app mobility for your business.
In my last article I discussed the final meeting with a tech enthusiast/developer that I had been excited about for weeks! Unfortunately, he was unable to help build my final product due to lack of time and motivation. Nonetheless, he was kind enough to engage me in my endeavors and give me advice which is the next best thing. The biggest lesson that he instilled in my plans was the importance of diving into the abundant app and mobile market. As an entrepreneur, my first impulse was to research this industry thoroughly and look for a way to enter my idea into that mobility market.
According to the blog.como.com website, the difference between a mobile app and mobile website is, “A mobile responsive website is a site that has been specifically designed to look and function optimally on both personal computers and mobile devices. A mobile app, on the other hand, is a native program designed specifically for smartphones and tablets.”
With a mobility compatibly growing in both personal and business use, there has been resulting an economical increase in both supply and demand as well. Businesses not only need to accommodate their original business plan for mobile apps, but look for new business opportunities to pull in more revenue. According to Venturebeat.com the 2016 app market is valued at approximately $50.9 billion, with a forecast of $74.6 billion in 2020. This provides two principles of longevity and growth. Furthermore, the bar is set by apps in terms of a level of professionalism, traffic, and credibility. In other words, potential users and partners will judge you based on these factors. If you want more exposure, then it is my best advice to jump on the bandwagon. FOR THIS ONE & ONLY TIME WE WANT YOU TO BE A SHEEP AND FOLLOW THE CROWD.

Adopting a mobile app or mobile website for your business can have a multitude of benefits for your business. It could have a simple information purpose, as a way to connect to mobile users. Incidentally, a fact stated from Deloitte claims, ”On average, people in the United States across all age groups check their phones 46 times per day.” This fact, combined with the colossal increase of app downloads begs the question, “If we made a good app and mobile website I wonder if we can increase our exposure?” Also, the increase in revenue opportunity is undeniable! Some quick ways to capitalize are ad placements, become an affiliate or sell your products via app just to name a few…
It’s my belief that spending the money for both a mobile app and website is worth the money and will pay for itself in no time. I had to take my own advice and go on the hunt for someone to build me a mobile app and make the suggested improvements to my original website.
